How much does (wallet) size matter?
April 15, 2008
Over the past few years, my wallet size has really gotten enormous. I’m not talking about my bank account. I’m talking about George Costanza-style ‘stuff everything into your wallet until it won’t close’ type large. (Yes. That WAS a Seinfeld reference in 2008. Long live Jerry!) It was badly in need of an eating disorder. So I cleaned it out. I’ve removed about a dozen cards — loyalty cards that I never use, and expired credit/debit cards. My ‘wallet on a diet’ is a much nicer thing to carry around. I can actually get my gorilla-sized hands out of my pocket without scraping skin off my knuckles now.
There is a problem though. Now, whenever I pull my wallet out, I wonder whose it is. I feel like I’m picking someone’s pocket.

I found my wallet getting to be “george like” and now I have to prune it often. Thanks for the reminder, I’ll prune today
